Global Climate Strike Week 2019

20 - 27 September

Global Climate Strike is an international movement of young people who participate in climate strikes around the world. ONCA supports the upcoming week of actions to demand an end to the age of fossil fuels, and climate justice for everyone.

The week of September 20 – 27, millions of us will walk out of our workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers on the streets and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels.

On 20 September the UK Student Climate Network is calling on everyone to join them in a global general climate strike and deliver a clear message for climate justice just 3 days before the UN emergency climate summit. Youth Strike 4 Climate Brighton are are organising a demo: assemble at 11am at Hove Lawns to walk to the Level.

As part of the Global Climate Strike week, ONCA will be facilitating two events at our gallery venue.
