Barge Summer Workshops: Weaving with Stick Looms

We’re offering arts and crafts workshops on ONCA Barge at Brighton Marina during the school holidays. All the sessions will be very relaxed and informal so there’s no need to book, just drop-in for as long or as little as you like.

July 2, 11-1pm : Weaving With Stick Looms

An introduction to weaving using wool, string, ribbon, feathers and plants. In this workshop we’ll learn together how to turn a Y shaped stick into a mini loom as well as basic weaving techniques to create and adorn our mini tapestries. 

Free, drop-in

Family friendly event, stay for 20minutes – 2 hours

All materials provided. Tea and coffee by donation.
