11 September
1:30 pm
2:30 pm

Join us for this special event at ONCA gallery in collaboration with photographic artist Benjamin Youd and the Ouse and Adur Rivers Trust.

Ouse and Adur Rivers Trust (OART) are an environmental protection organisation tending to precious waterways that stretch across Sussex. During this hour-long discussion, OART will concentrate on the River Ouse: current condition, pressures and what we’re doing about it.

The talk takes place against the backdrop of Benjamin Youd’s photographic exhibition: River Story. The session will cover an introduction into river health and the challenges that we’re all faced in maintaining a health ecosystem in the UK’s waterways. Using the River Ouse will be as a case study, OART will share inspiring insights into the work they do and our connection with rivers.

Come away feeling empowered with a deeper understanding of the way rivers support life and inspired to take your own action. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

Please take some time to have a look around the gallery exhibition during your visit. The artist, Benjamin Youd will be around to discuss his work.
