Volumes: New Work by Nick West
Opening Event // Friday 25 August, 6 – 8pm
Nick West was born in 1976 in Brighton. He studied Fine Art at the Kent Institute of Art & Design in Canterbury, specialising in Graphic Fine Art. For the main installation at O N C A, Nick is producing a work completed while at the gallery itself. This particular work is created by recycling the physical elements of his degree show. ‘Volumes’ is as much about the scope of language as it is about the capacity of materials. The artist lives and works in Tokyo.
