LosFeliz Ancestry Album Cover

LosFeliz is the music vehicle for Lucy Powell – a Brighton based alt-folk singer-songwriter who specialises in melancholia, chamber like vocals & reverb guitar. Due to release debut album ‘Ancestry’ on 16th June 2017 on Union Music Store’s label, LosFeliz has been performing intimate sets around Sussex, Wales and London and is now setting up a UK and European tour.

LosFeliz likes to focus on the art of recording and all songs on the album have been recorded in a rural chapel in Wales that her ancestors built and the album is somewhat a peace offering to family old and found. Produced by Kevin M. Johnston (I touched the Undertow, MoonAltar) and mastered at Church Rd Recording Studios (Esben and the Witch, Fear of Men) LosFeliz is music to be listened to mostly in the dark, and will take you to a place where nostalgia and intimacy live harmoniously.

“Luminous music with great heart” – BBC Radio Wales

“A unique brand of melancholy folk that’s unforgettable in its intensity” – Line Of Best Fit
