An exhibition of drawings, paintings and prints exploring the conflicted nature of human life.
“Figurative portraits reveal the fragmentary often fractured aspects of character and conversation, while the landscapes imagine dream-like places of tranquillity, safety and peace. The work is made with emphasis on the subconscious. Character and place are constructed from feeling and emotion, rather than an apparent logic of thought, and thereby may be found to hold a more significant truth?” – Veronika Buko
