Goodbye O N C A Gallery
14 December
5:00 pm – 9:30 pm
And now the end is near, and so we face the final curtain
Regrets, we’ve had a few, but then again, too few to mention
Yes, there were times, of course you knew, when we bit off more than we could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt, we faced it all and did it our way.
– Frank Sinatra
Come to ONCA to say goodbye to the gallery that supported and held huge visions and magic over the past twelve years and nurtured countless projects, artists and relationships. Bring your memories, stories and feelings. Bring your friends. Bring something to drink, to share, to offer. Please join us to bid farewell to this precious project that emerged, lived and evolved, against the odds, through the care, energy and determination of the community who loved it.
We will begin at 5.30pm sharp with a eulogy, paying respects. Then expect:
- 6.30pm open mic (five minute slots for tributes to ONCA / to grieving / to disillusionment and rage / to collective endings. Any genre. Please email if you want to volunteer, the more the merrier)
- Memory collecting
- Music until late
