Fold A Paper Town: Family Workshop

22 August 2018
3:00 pm
4:30 pm

Museum by Sarah Edmonds

Invent your own mini town inspired by the exhibition. Sarah will guide you through the process of making a folded book from scratch, cutting out a skyline to shape the pages like roof tops. We will then fill the towns with landmarks, animals and stories using drawing and collage. Participants will take home their own book that can be added to, written in and also stood up like a mini theatre set.

**Suitable for ages 6+, all children must be accompanied**

Tickets £8 for one adult & child available via Eventbrite, additional children (or adults!) £5 each – please email or call 01273 607101 to reserve additional places.

About the exhibition:

This workshop is part of Sarah Edmonds exhibition Alphabetown. During this lively interactive exhibition, the gallery will be transformed into an imaginative Information Centre. Visit and find out more about this work in progress town – see its landmarks, meet the locals and add your own suggestions to the noticeboard. See here for more info.

Accessibility:

Please contact or 01273 607101 if you have specific access needs, please note the gallery is wheelchair accessible but the toilet is up five stairs. We have hearing assistive technology and our staff have basic BSL & Deaf Awareness training.
