Epha Roe in conversation with Dr Annebella Pollen about the processes and ideas behind their solo exhibition: Photosymbiosis
Join us in the gallery to learn more about how and why Epha Roe makes their analogue photographs and the research behind them. In this informal event Epha will be in conversation with their PhD supervisor Dr Annebella Pollen. There will also be opportunities for audience Q&A.
Dr Annebella Pollen is Reader in History of Art and Design at University of Brighton, with particular research interests in photography studies and British cultural history. Her books include Mass Photography: Collective Histories of Everyday Life (2015), The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift: Intellectual Barbarians (2015) and Nudism in a Cold Climate: The Visual Culture of Naturists in Mid-20th-Century Britain (2021).
