Curious Kids: Screen Printing Workshop for Lost Species Day
23 November
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
November brings with it Remembrance Day For Lost Species, and in honour of this we’ll be drawing and screen printing some of our favourite animals, both extinct and alive. Come along to browse our books for inspiration and honour these amazing creatures through printmaking.
Curious Kids is a workshop programme for 6 – 11 years olds taking place between autumn and winter at ONCA. The workshops provide vital opportunities for social connections and creative play, crucial for childhood development and positive wellbeing, while reducing barriers to accessing art.
This workshop will be led by ONCA’s Community Artist, Ishtar Parrish Wain.
The workshop is free to attend but all children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session, with no more than two children per one adult in attendance. You only need to book tickets for children. Snacks will be provided so please make ONCA aware of any allergies in advance. This activity may be messy so please wear appropriate clothing.
This project is funded by the UK government and Brighton & Hove City Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
