Black In Real Life: Private View
12 October
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Join us for the private viewing of Black In Real Life, an exhibition by Brighton-based artist Nalo Solo.
To celebrate Black History Month, ONCA is delighted to be opening an exhibition by Nalo Solo uplifting the local Black community through portraiture and interviews. Part of a longer-term project, Black In Real Life aims to spotlight the inclusive and socially-conscious community found here in Brighton and its surrounding areas, as a vital force making Black history in real time.
As always we’ll be hosting a private view to mark another wonderful exhibition where you can chat with the artist and curator, Susuana Amoah. This exhibition is part of ONCA’s Associate Artist Programme supporting four socially-engaged artists to research, develop and exhibit artwork.
This event is free to attend, if you can no longer make it please let us know by emailing as we have limited spaces, thank you.
