23 October 2018
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Tuesday 23 October 2018
Illustrator Sarah Edmonds will be based on the barge for a whole day, drawing and painting from life – people, wildlife and the changing colours of the sea. Pop in and say hello from 12pm – 6pm, or join in with the Wildlife Watercolour Painting Workshop, 2.00 – 4.00 pm.
Wildlife Watercolour Painting: An introduction to Sarah’s process. We will paint and draw sea creatures both real and imaginary. Sarah is known for her drawings and paintings of animals, birds and wild places. Come and find out about the techniques she uses to create her images, both in her studio and sketchbook, and then create your own! We will use ink, watercolour and crayon to draw animals and plants found above and beneath the waves, and produce a collection of original pieces to take home.
The workshop is suitable for grown-ups and children alike. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult for the duration of the workshop.
Cost: £7.50 per participant
Age: 5+
Maximum number of participants per workshop: 12 in total
