Ajoloteria Launch Party

Join exhibiting artist Anna-Marie Lamond and ONCA’s curator Susuana Amoah for the launch of Ajoloteria!
ONCA is pleased to invite you to the launch party of Ajoloteria to meet the artist, Anna-Marie Lamond, and to play Lotería, a traditional card game which supports the exhibition’s mission of aiding learning around the precarious situation of the shrinking ancient wetland. The exhibition is a response to the open call for ONCA’s 2024 Members’ Solo Exhibition and focuses on stories of the critically endangered Mexican Axolotl and the complex socio-ecological environment of Xochimilco, Mexico City. Anna-Marie Lamond is an ecological artist, who having lived in Mexico City, spent three years researching and making the artworks which raise awareness of the socially-complex situation UNESCO World Heritage Site.
ACCESSIBILITY
