THE FOOD JOURNEY

10 November 2017
7:00 pm
10:00 pm

Food photography by Peter Wendt

Friday 10 November, 7 – 10pm

Food: ‘the thing that we take in which nourishes us’, is how Mama D Ujuaje, founder of Community Centred Knowledge, defines food.

What this means is that food is so much more than what we put into our mouths. It includes the entire experience of what we eat, hear, breathe, feel and place on our skins. It has history and it involves how we relate to our entire sensory environment.

But how many of us have really explored our everyday experience of food?

The Food Journey takes each participant on a multi-sensory, immersive experience which traces the story of food from a place of beginnings, to our everyday popular food outlets and then beyond into a space of deep reflection and sharing with each other where we find ourselves in the world of food today.

Tickets available via Eventbrite. If you’d like to attend please complete this form to inform us of any requirements you have. Please contact / 01273 607101 if you have specific access requirements.
