Screening of ASTRA followed by Q&A with Naomi Foyle and Raven Kaliana

ASTRA by Naomi Foyle & Raven Kaliana is a new multimedia production, which won the ONCA Green Curtain Award and premiered in 2022 at Brighton Fringe. ASTRA is an adaptation of eco-science fiction novels The Gaia Chronicles by Naomi Foyle, designed and directed by Raven Kaliana. The story depicts a post-fossil fuel society struggling toward social justice and balance with the Earth. Themes include racism, disability rights, child abuse and climate crisis. The after-show discussion offers an opportunity for audience members affected by these issues to speak out and connect with others who share your concerns, including local groups working to solve problems.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., film (70 mins) starts sharp at 7:00 p.m. There will be refreshments provided.

The film screening of ASTRA is suitable for ages 16+. Includes BSLI + Captions; Audio Description available online.
