Meet the Artists: A.MAL Collective
13 January 2022
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Informal conversation between A.MAL Collective and ONCA about their current exhibition: In, Among & Between من الى عن على في
Winners of ONCA’s Lost Species Day 2021 commission, A.MAL is a curatorial platform exploring ecology, migration and post-coloniality through speculative art and research projects.
A.MAL cast a critical eye on past and present global issues while seeking to harness human connection and creativity to imagine a better, more hopeful future. Always questioning, always exploring. A.MAL aims to address the interconnectivity of colonialism and climate injustice by questioning current relationships between the Global North and Global South. Challenging over-consumption (which is leading to extinction of species, the pollution of seas and climate change as a whole) through imagination and creativity.
There will also be the opportunity for audience Q&A.

This event is offered on a donation basis with free tickets also available to those that need them.
