Meditative Lino Printmaking with Daisy Stewart-Darling
28 June
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
As part of their exhibition Lino Waves: Soundscapes of The Living Coast, artist Daisy Stewart-Darling will host a Lino Printmaking Workshop exploring the UNESCO biosphere region unique to the Sussex coastline.
Join us for a mindful workshop where you’ll listen to ecological sites of interest within The Living Coast while creating your own lino prints. The session will feature an introduction to the exhibition themes including sound ecology and take us through a deep listening exercise. Afterwards, you’ll be led through a process of creating your own lino prints inspired by The Living Coast.
All materials for cutting and printing on plant-based lino sheets are included. No prior experience of lino printmaking is required.
