Lily Rigby: what the water gave me – Private View

Join us at ONCA gallery for the opening of Lily Rigby’s second solo exhibition: what the water gave me
Lily’s new paintings explore the power of water – a universal symbol for change. The exhibition will be open until 17th November at ONCA Gallery.
All visitors are warmly welcomes to the private view, where all the work is for sale. There will be delicious canapés by Rosa Rigby and Drinks by Jarrolds Gin.
Lily will be donating a portion of all gallery sales to Surfers Against Sewage – a charity that helps protect our oceans and the wildlife that live there.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lily is drawn to the land, the sea and the sky and uses them as starting points for all her work. Her paintings exist somewhere in the space between abstract and figurative. They are rendered with sensitivity and emotion, to produce pieces that are alive, vital and dramatic.
Lily has been in many group shows as well as having successful solo exhibitions each year. She has exhibited in Brighton, Bristol, Chichester and Hungerford. This Autumn Lily has work in a variety of group exhibitions, including one in London and another at Cameron Contemporary in Hove. ‘what the water gave me’ is Lily’s second solo show at ONCA Gallery.

Please contact or 01273 607101 if you have specific access needs, please note the gallery is wheelchair accessible but the toilet is up five stairs.
