28 November 2019
6:30 pm
8:30 pm

As part of the Generations programme for Lost Species Day 2019, we will be hosting a film screening and discussion event exploring the loss of forest cultures and livelihoods in Borneo.

The series of films shown on the night will explore research by  University of Brighton and CIFOR into issues related to care, gender and youth in the expansion of oil palm in Indonesia.

The evening will be hosted by WEGO researcher Dian Ekowati in conversation with artist Deru Anding and Rebecca Elmhirst of University of Brighton’s Centre for Spatial, Environmental and Cultural Politics.

WEGO-ITN: This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 764908-WEGO 2018-2021.
