Blackness: Poetry Workshop by Kareem Parkins-Brown

21 October 2017
6:30 pm
9:30 pm

Kareem Parkins-Brown

A creative writing poetry workshop, hosted by I, Too Am Sussex and led by poet Kareem Parkens-Brown as part of Black History Month.

Having led workshops at the Barbican, we are excited to welcome Kareem to Brighton, where he will be inviting people to explore how they write blackness and identity. This will be followed by an opportunity for participants to perform their work.

This is an interactive workshop, open to anyone who’s a poetry novice to those who write everyday! Free but due to our venue size places are limited, see here to reserve a space. Donations welcome.

Please contact / 01273 607101 if you have any specific access needs.
