Bea von Preussen & Emma Hoette: artist talk

15 February 2018
6:00 pm

b&w print of arctic ice

6pm, 15 February FREE

Join us for an Arctic Printmaking talk.

Beatrice shows how she adapted her printmaking processes to the restrictions of the Arctic Environment while using her printmaking practice as a way of seeing, sensing and being in the landscape.

Emma Hoette, custodian of a print from Michael Günzburger’s work cycle titled “Collision, Trace and Rumor”, tells the story of how this special print, made through a lithography technique and the bodyweight of a Svalbard Polar Bear, left the studio and became a trigger for dialogues, possibilities of printmaking, physical explorations of Arctic landscapes and animal human relations.

It will be an interesting discussion. Come and join in, ask questions, or just listen.  This is a free event but donations are warmly welcomed. Reserve your space here via Eventbrite.
