Bats Pollinating

by Jan Harrison

We are delighted to have been invited to share these new works by New York based artist Jan Harrison. She made her “Bats Pollinating” series this year in honour of lost and disappearing pollinators.
‘I have been very concerned about the survival of bats. I respect their importance, as well as the beauty and unique quality and diversity of their very being. In 2012 and 2014  I did a project, a Bat Sanctuary: it included a model of the proposed sanctuary, and was exhibited in “Type P: American Interpretations,” at Donskoj Gallery, Kingston, NY, and then at Fort Aan de Klop, Netherlands.
