Clare Whistler has worked as a director for the last 15 years in opera, education and community projects while also creating her own performance pieces.

Clare trained at Rambert Dance and worked as a professional dancer and choreographer in North America for 15 years. In the UK Clare has collaborated with many other artists creating pieces and performances involving music, movement, text, visual art and film. Many of which are site specific. Clare also established True North and Shaping Voices, both creative companies.
