https://www.facebook.com/events/914836095258982/

As part of the radical film festival launch, we have been asked to host a poetry writing flash workshop! In just one hour get writing poetry and words in the form of a message from your future self to yourself now.The theme is climate change, our planet and our society. What does the future look like? What does it sound and smell like? What do the people of the world eat? What kind of houses do they live in? What actions did people take to save the planet from it’s ecological and humantarian disasters, and bring about a forward thinking community of earth dwellers? How was your future self involved? What do they do in the future?

By the end of the workshop you will have created not only a pile of words and poems that you have written; but will also contribute to the creation of a giant collaborative poem, whih will be read as part of the Brighton Radical Film Festival Launch later in that night at One Church Brighton. You will also have the chance to read out some of your created poetry at the end of our pop up poetry event should you want!

There’s limited spacce in the venue, so it’s a first come basis!
