ONCA’s Artist Residency programme provides opportunities for artists to develop their research and practice in our gallery and on board our second venue: ONCA Barge at Brighton Marina.

About ONCA Artist Residencies

Throughout the year, ONCA hosts social-engaged residencies for artists who want research and develop work in response to environmental and social challenges. As well as providing a space for experimentation and social practice, these residencies aim to support collaborative learning and cultural change in Brighton and beyond.

Open Studios @ ONCA Barge

As part of our socially engaged residency format, we host Open Studios sessions connect with resident artists and learn about their creative process as they prepare to exhibit work. To see what Artist Residency events we have coming up click the link below.

Our studio space is available to hire throughout the year. If you are interested in hiring the Barge, please make an enquiry through our online form. Once we have received your enquiry we will aim to get back to as soon as possible.
