Barge Voles: drop-in afternoon

Volunteers are at the heart of ONCA and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. If you’re interested in volunteering on ONCA Barge, come along to the Barge Community Afternoon on 17 June to see the venue, take part and chat with Izzy the Barge manager.

We’re looking for up to four people to work with us on the ONCA Barge on Friday afternoons to help run our Community Afternoons. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a professional arts environment whilst supporting ONCA’s activities and development.

  • Salary: Unpaid. Travel expenses covered up to £5 per day
  • Length: Ongoing, minimum commitment of 6 months preferred
  • Hours: 1.45 – 5.15pm on Fridays at ONCA Barge, Brighton Marina

Skills required:

  • Reliable, responsible and punctual
  • Approachable and happy meeting/ talking to new people
  • Passionate about the arts and the environment
  • Committed to ONCA’s environmental and social justice mission

Please contact or 01273 607101 if you have specific access needs, please note the gallery is wheelchair accessible but the toilet is up five stairs.
