Richard Roaf, Paris Climate Talks

Richard Roaf

Richard Roaf founded the video agency Alter Eco in 2011 as a way of combining his love of the environment with his desire to spend every waking moment on YouTube.

After spending a difficult few years working out how to take the lens cap off, he started to properly research how videos go viral and was able to make videos for nice people like Greenpeace, Amnesty International and 38 Degrees.

Since then he has produced viral videos at the 2015 Paris Climate Talks, reached 35 million people with 5 Ways to Disrupt Racism, and helped run a social media video campaign for Momentum last election.

As well as producing the occasional video he’s now running VideoRev which is working to transform how good people use video by creating a scaleable model of online and offline training delivery.
