Amber Massie-Blomfield is an arts producer and non-fiction writer. Her first book, Twenty Theatres to See Before You Die, is published by Penned in the Margins, for which she received the Society of Authors’ Michael Meyer Award. Her writing has been published by The Independent, The Guardian, Exeunt, New Internationalist, Standart, The Wrong Quarterly and she is a regular contributor to The Stage.
As an arts producer she works for clients including Pro Helvetia (the Swiss Arts Council), the Barbican and Free Word. From 2014-18 she was Executive Director of Camden People’s Theatre. She chairs the STAMP network of London theatres with artist support programmes. She won a Special Achievement Award at the 2018 Off West End Awards, and is a fellow of Birkbeck University and Royal Society of the Arts.
